Mr. Jaikrishna B is the President – Group HR of the Amara Raja Group. He is an executive member of the Amara Raja Corporate Council (ARCC) which is the Apex Leadership & Decision Council of the Group.

Further, he is the Chairman of the Group Ethics Committee, the Ombudsman of the Amara Raja Group and one of the Board of Directors for ‘Rajanna Foundation’ which is the CSR focused company of the Group, In addition, Jaikrishna is also the Advisor to the Promoter Family of Amara Raja Group.

 Jaikrishna is a graduate in Economics, and a first rank holder in post-graduation in Social Work with specialisation in Personnel Management from the Madras School of Social Work-University of Madras. He’s also certified in Family Business Advising (CFBA) from the Family Firm Institute, Boston, USA.

 He started his career in 1990 as a Management Trainee in the Murugappa Group and after various stints in Plant IR, HR and Corporate HR in multiple businesses, he moved up to become the Head HR of one of the businesses. After 14 years of service in the Murugappa Group, he then moved on to C K Birla Group as their General Manager of Group Corporate HR. In December 2005, he joined the Amara Raja Group and assumed the Group HR Head responsibility.

Over his career, other than Human Resources, he has also handled various responsibilities in Sales & Marketing, Information Technology, New Business Development, Corporate Communications and also Skill Development.

Jaikrishna (JK) has held various positions like Chairman of EFSI – AP & Telangana, Member of the AP Govt. Labour Advisory Board, and also in CII, as Chair of HR Committee of Southern Region, HR Committee at AP, Co-chair for Skills committee of CII Southern Region, Member of CSR Sub Committee and so on. He’s now serving as a member of the CII National Task Force on Affirmative Action.

JK has been the recipient of various awards like ‘Pride of the Industry Award’, ‘HR Leadership Award’. CHRO ASIA, and was also listed amongst one of the ‘100 Most Talented Global HR Leaders’, and ‘Most Influential HR leaders’ by CHRO Asia. JK is passionate and invests considerable time in the areas of Organisation Culture, Performance Management, Executive coaching, leadership development and family business advising.

He is a fond lover of Arts & cultural activities. He has excelled in the field of drama, mono-acting, and debates. An ardent lover of humour and people, he invests his personal time in networking, reading, watching movies, being with dear & near and also committed to social cause.
