Dear Member,
As you are aware, the term for the Executive Committee of NHRD Bangalore Chapter is for two years and the term for the present Executive Committee will come to an end by July 2025.
NHRD Bangalore Chapter is therefore conducting an election to form the new Executive Committee of the NHRD Bangalore Chapter for a period of 2 years ie., July 2025-June 2027.
During the 24th May 2025 Executive Committee Meeting chaired by Chapter President Mr. Anish Philip, the committee passed the resolution to appoint Dr. Pallab Bandyopadhyay (ex-President of Bangalore Chapter & a very senior member of NHRD) as the Returning Officer (RO) to lead the entire election process for the election of the upcoming EC.
Through this communication, we are seeking at least ‘2 PROPOSERS’ consent to formalize the appointment of Dr.Pallab Bandyopadhyay as the RO for the 2025-27 Election process. Hence requesting the members here to write to : secretary@nhrdbangalore.com with the content ‘I propose/consent appointment of Dr.Pallab Bandyopadhyay as the RO to conduct 2025-27 HRD Network election process’.
The AGM and Election is planned to be held during July 2025, the date and other details will be announced in subsequent communication, In case any member has any query/objection/suggestion to the appointment of the Returning Officer, it has to be raised by email to the Hon Secretary Bangalore Chapter (secretary@nhrdbangalore.com) by 6th June 2025, before 6.00 pm.
