NHRD Bangalore announces 5th Batch of Fast Track HR Professionals’ Development Program for the year 2014

This is about 16 to 17 day (on alternate weekends) programme, Generally, Saturdays – Full day and Sundays – Half Day with senior leaders and experts as faculty and mentors. However, a few Sundays are full day sessions.

This learning initiative provides an edge in their career for professionals who want to up-skill knowledge and / or strengthen specific areas of human capital management.

Aimed to help Line Managers and HR professionals learn and acquire deep insights from Subject Matter Experts and Industry Stalwarts, the Fast Track program offers a unique opportunity to understand the nuances of people practices in varied industries.

Faculty Include Senior Subject Matter Experts from Industry and Academia Fee :
INR 32000/- Each Participant is eligible for upto 50% scholarship. Taxes as applicable
Fee includes courseware, lunch and refreshments and a 01 day outbound learning.

The program is scheduled to begin in May and will involve mandatory attendance. Sessions will be scheduled only on alternate Saturdays (full day) and Sundays (half day). The program is scheduled to formally end by September.

The National HRD Network Bangalore has initiated a Faculty Development Programme in 2013 to enable HR Faculty.

NHRD Bangalore has designed an exclusive program for HR Faculty of Bangalore University affiliated B-Schools. You are welcome for the inauguration on Saturday, Dec 14th, 10.30 am at the Seminar Hall, Canara School of Management Studies, Central College Campus, Palace Road, Bangalore.

A series of visits to offices and manufacturing plants were also organized as part of enabling HR Faculty with industry know-how.

14th September: Visit to Bosch Limited – HR Faculty from various B-Schools had a know-how about the local/global standards & maturity processes at the Bosch, Bangalore plant. Many Senior HR Executives at Bosch actively participated and shared their HR and IR practices with Faculty Delegates.

31st August: Visit to Titan Industries Watch Division – 18 Faculty members representing various B Schools participated. The Plant HR team took the delegate team around the shop floor, enabled discussion with production manager(s) and Plant Production Head. The delegates enjoyed effective interactive session with the HR team.

24th August: Visit to BEML – About 20 HR Faculty members representing various B Schools participated. The delegates were taken around the Metro Locomotive assembly plant and had HR presentation (on PSU perspective) by the BEML HR team. The delegates had an opportunity to interact with both HR team and cross-functional leaders of BEML.

3rd August: Visit to Toyota Kirloskar Motors – Around 20 members of various academic institutions took part in this industrial tour. The HR team of Toyota Kirloskar Motors took them around the car manufacturing plant, Gurukul (unique skill/knowledge based Training centre), Technical Training Institute for underprivileged boys of Karnataka (under CSR banner) and shared their best HR practices. There was interactive session with the HR team which enabled the visitors clarify practical aspects of many subjects taught at the B School classrooms.

1. National HRD Network Bangalore initiated 'TRIADS Project Swayamvar' in Feb 2013 to facilitate interaction among HR students from different B-Schools and corporate from different sectors on a single platform for internship projects. About 20+ students have been offered internship projects at the swayamvar.

The National HRD Network initiated an Annual Contest since 2005 to recognise and reward excellence in the human resource practice; the philosophy of TRIADS is to enhance the quality and application orientation among HR students.

2B. In 2012 about 14 institutions participated and 34 projects contested for the TOP 3 awards! The final award ceremony was held in November 2012 of the annual Contest TRIADS was held at the Chancery Pavilion.
